MY STORY


Tonya Baltimore (yes – her real name) is a versatile performance artist with more than 20 years of vocal performance experience in stage, television, music, studio and theater.

Tonya’s voice has been heard across the country on a wide variety of projects. She has performed various local, regional and national voice overs for radio, television, web, live events, government and corporate videos, museum audio guides, award shows and radio sponsor credits. From corporations, government agencies and non-profits, her clients have included U.S. Census Bureau, Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Transportation Safety Administration, NAACP, United Health Group, AARP and the Washington Metro Area Transportation Association (WMATA).

Tonya also spent years with the Library of Congress where she narrated books ranging from children’s literature to historical fiction.

In addition to her voice over work, she has led the production of corporate videos with roles that ranged from script development to lead character and narrator. Prior to her career in voice overs, Tonya was a recording artist for Alpha International, Polygram Records in Philadelphia, PA.

Tonya is a D.C. native and currently resides in the Washington, DC area.
